Business Case Writing & IPT's: An Introduction

Purpose

A successful Business case should provide assessments of strategic fit, option appraisal, achievability, value for money and affordability. The Northern Ireland Guide to Expenditure. appraisal & Evaluation (NIGEAE) outlines these requirements in detail. This one day programme will introduce participants to the NIGAEA and explains the key steps involved in producing as successful Business Case / IPT.

• Understand the principles and process of writing a business case
• Awareness of various types of business cases used in HSC
• Apply NIGAEA 10 step approach to buiness cases
• An understanding of Post Project Evaluation
• Gain practical tips and awareness of common mistakes made in completing bsuiness cases

• Or those seeking to refresh their business case writing skills
