Professor Peter Hawkins, Ph.D. FRSA, Professor of Leadership at Henley Business School, Chairman of Renewal Associates, Emeritus Chairman of Bath Consultancy Group, leading consultant, coach, writer and researcher in organisational strategy, leadership, culture change and team and board development will share his thoughts on Creating a Coaching Culture in Health & Social Care: from the Patient to the Board.

 

The target for this event are those involved in driving forward the Strategic Leadership & Coaching agenda, including Directors and Senior Managers as well as those who have yet to be convinced of the role of Coaching in bringing about organisational change. The event will also attract patient leaders and peer advocates. The focus will be on how coaching approaches need to form the basis of sustainable organisational change.

 

Peter has worked as a coach, team coach and consultant in the Health Service for over thirty years. He provided the supervision and development through NHSII, for all the NHS Board and Team Coaches, as well as working with a Strategic Health Authority, a Health Education Board and a number of NHS Acute and Community Trusts, on their strategy, organisation development and as a team coach to NHS Boards, ExecutiveTeams and Clinical Directorate teams. Peter campaigns the use of coaching for organizational improvement and empowerment and his views are gaining traction right across the private and public sector both locally and globally.
